The Strasserwirt Country Hotel is found in St. Ulrich at the Pillersee lakein the middle of the PillerseeTal holiday region around the Pillersee from where the valley (Tal) gets its name. The PillerseeTal is situated in the north-eastern party of Tyrol on the border to the state of Salzburg and also borders Bavaria in Germany.

• 3 ski areas (Fieberbrunn/Streuböden, Pillersee/Buchensteinwand, Waidring/Steinplatte) – the Strasserwirt is just one kilometer away the Pillersee-Buchensteinwand mountain lifts. The bus stop for the ski bus is located directly in front of the hotel.
• 5 ski and snowboard schools and ski nurseries, hire/service
• Bobo children’s park, toboggan runs, ice-skating rink, curling sheets, horse-drawn sleigh rides, Funpark – the Pillersee ski school with the popular Bobo children’s ski park is located directly next to the mountain lift valley station next to the hotel – perfect for a family holiday
