Horse needs to match their riders

This sounds simple, but in reality it isn’t, as the ability of a rider continues to develop. An un-demanding mare is ideal for beginners, whilst a young horse rich in temperament is suitable for experienced riders.

To ensure that every rider has a suitable horse, we have 20 well-trained warmblood and Arabian horses and ponies in our stables.

Haflinger horses and ponies for the little ones

Our 10 Haflinger and ponies are very patient and easy to manage, but so too are our larger, peaceful horses for longe, making the experience of being on horseback great fun for younger riders.

Fun and safety when riding are very important to learn, whether in the light riding hall with its spectator gallery, or when looking after the horses in the stables.

Often it is worth beginners taking a few extra longe lessons so as to feel really secure and ready for group riding instruction. Advanced riders can enjoy the beautiful scenery on a ride out on the Haflingers.
